Introduction
I have to admit that I didn’t expect to finish this project. It was quite demanding to embroider something every month, and sometimes (due to workload) I ended up stitching one month’s piece at the end of the next month.
Now, looking at it, memories and feelings come flooding back as I see the little doodles. I might have forgotten some of them otherwise. It could definitely have been better, filled with more designs, but for me, the goal was achieved: spending mindful time creating and embroidering the most meaningful memories of the past year onto canvas.

Supplies
The usual embroidery supplies (fabric, hoop, threads, needle & scissors)
Preparing the design
It all started with transferring a template I found on Pinterest onto the fabric.

Half a year embroidered
I'm really scatty; I keep forgetting to take photos of the process. So, the first photo that I took was when I had filled the first six months of the year. I tried to doodle something that would remind me of the most important moments of each month. If you're wondering why we're carrying a car in April, it's because that month, both our cars broke down just a few days apart. Although the first months were rather demanding, from May on, I tried to make more space for creativity. In June, I tried to embroider the amigurumi cats that I was crocheting at that time.

Filling the rest of the year
From July on, I was more diligent with taking photos.
- After the schools closed for summer vacation, I spent most of my time creatively, always under the supervision of my cats :)
- In August, we enjoyed some days on Samothrace.
- How come summer vacation passes so quickly? September and October were dedicated to work. The Bored Teachers inspired October's embroidery. Shout-out to all the teachers who have to repeat instructions at least five times, haha.
- I don't know what happened to me in November, but I spent so much money (more than usual) on craft materials. I regretted it later, when the time came to pay bills and taxes.

And there you have it!
A whole year embroidered!

Dove lo trovo questo corso
@mceciv73 This is not a course project. But if it helps, I learned the basics of embroidery in Señorita Lylo's course and then started to work on my own projects.
Increible 😍
