Introduction
These props are inspired by Season 14, Episode 4 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, titled “The Gang Chokes,” in which Mac feeds Dennis unhealthy, high-gluten and high-dairy shakes in an attempt to make him sick and dependent on his care. This premise led me to create a reimagined scenario set in the 1950s, where Mac once again attempts to poison Dennis but is ultimately arrested. This project is one of my favorites, as it draws from a show I frequently watched throughout college.

Supplies
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & Lightroom, Stamps, Printer, Pens, Ink, Beer Bottle, Matches, Paper, etc.
References
Regarding the newspaper, telegram, and identification card, my references came straight from the course. The inspiration for the evidence card came from an actual evidence card I found on eBay. The beer-and-poison label came from general inspiration I had seen online while searching for "vintage beer labels" or "1950s poison bottle." The matchbox came from an old matchbox I found in my grandmother's house.

Putting It All Together
After gathering my references and developing a general storyline, I assembled the designs in Photoshop and Illustrator. I then visited Staples to purchase a variety of paper types for printing. Because my printer is fairly old, I was limited in the kinds of paper I could use. Once printed, I applied Vaseline to the edges of some sheets to create a worn, aged effect and lightly wrinkled them for added texture. After assembling the props, I photographed them and edited the final images in Lightroom.
