I’m a digital artist based in LA. My work combines custom lettering and 3D illustration into intricate pieces living in contained and clean environments, delving into volume, form, color and material behavior with a taste for dynamic and organic pieces.
Born and raised in Barcelona, my work got influenced by the Catalan Modernism, an art and literature movement that emerged around the turn of the 20th century, equivalent to the Art Noveau in France or the Jugendstil in Germany. Its attention to detail and visual richness always attracted me and it influenced my style making my designs dynamic and elaborated.
In 2009 I moved to New York City, where I fell in love with typography and where my work acquired a more rational and organized flavor too. Barcelona gave me a taste for illustration, New York brought me to typography, and now both disciplines live in L.A., with expressive digital lettering and 3D art.
My work can be seen in a wide range of media, from film titles to advertising campaigns, apparel and editorial supports.
I haves been awarded with the Type Directors Club Certificate of Typographic Excellence, the Communication Arts Typography Award, the SOTA and TypeCon 2016 Prototype Competition, Nominated for the 2013 Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Illustrators worldwide, Awarded at the 2020 Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Digital Artists worldwide also nominated in the Outstanding Graphic Design category in the the Cinema Eye Honors.
My work has been featured in several books and publications both in the US and across Europe, including the Adobe Create magazine, Domestika, AIGA’s Eye On Design, Graffica and Etapes among others.
