Antonio Dell'Aquila

I’m an artist and creative designer, born in Southern Italy in 1979.
As of an early age, my creativity and interest in drawing led me to study art, graphic design and printing techniques. After completing university studies at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence in 2002, earning a degree with honors, I started my own business, generating a vast experience as a creative over the years. The willingness to experiment with media languages, both analog and digital, pushed me to explore the spaces of creative design at 360°, going from painting to photography, from audio to video, from hand-drawing to computer graphics, from stage design to 3D rendering. My intermediality has proven in time a real strength for me, allowing me to move easily from one creative field to another, maintaining a consistent aesthetic background.
In recent years, in addition to working freelance as a creative designer for companies and private clients, I’ve brought forward a number of projects and collaborations related to contemporary art, music and video.
After living in the UK for a period of two years, I moved near Venice from 2014 to 2018 to study and then work as a 3D artist/teacher at BigRock, Institute of Magic Technologies. At BigRock I had the chance to start a new course in Concept Art and Digital Painting, now consolidated.
I’m currently living and working in Barcelona as a 3D Artist and Concept Designer.
