Ayelén Jimenez

Once upon a time, there was an 8-year-old girl who dreamed of being an artist...
She was born and began drawing from an early age. she grew up and kept drawing. and still, having doubts about her destiny, she followed her heart and art.
Her artistic inquisitiveness for books and cultures has always been great, surely influenced by the generations of immigrants that made up her family, a creative mixture of homelands, lands and travel.

Her mother read her stories every night and invented many stories for her, making her imagination grow every day. she liked what was different, and all those lines that were part of her life built her personality without realizing it…
She studied to be a teacher, because she saw her life teaching what she loved, because she dreamed of a more sensitive world. She worked from a very young age in schools and different institutions, even before graduating (2013); she created her own atelier in her native country (Taller Expresionarte, 2013), made different collective exhibitions and collaborated in graphic media of her country (MusicaClasicaBA), always encouraged by discovering the world and new customs, as well as traditions.
One day she felt like flying high, and changed country (2015), leaving everything she had, but taking everything she was

Currently, she continues to teach in her own “atelier” “Taller Caleidoscopio” in Barcelona, she keeps dreaming, creating and fulfilling dreams. that girl with a spirit of adventure is Ayelén: “sun, joy of living”
