I graduated from Seattle Central CC and worked as an Art Director until I got married and moved to California. While there I was the County Artist where among other things I redesigned the county seal, designed the county Resolution and Proclamation documents as well the county letterhead.
After raising my kids I went back to school at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts under the Leadership of Auseklis Ozols, where I delved into things I’d never done like sculpting and oil painting.
Never one to stay idle I began hand sewing garments after attending a workshop with Alabama Chanin. A couple years ago a love of little things led me to try making pieces of furniture in 1:12 scale. I created replicas of a trunk bar and my daughter’s vanity.
Recently I’ve tried my hand at digital art on my iPad Pro using Procreate. I hope to develop a line of fabric an wallpaper.
