I’m Louise! A designer and artist who enjoys creating an accessible bullet journal.

After graduating from university and earning a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and Design, I sought to learn a new creative skill focusing on analogue materials as most of my everyday work had become digital. I turned my hand to brush lettering and discovered bullet journaling through this community. I fell in love with the duality of everyday organisation and the hands-on creativity that bullet journaling allowed me to explore. By utilising my new brush lettering skills with my appreciation for visual composition and layout, I began my first bullet journal.

In 2018, I decided to share my bullet journal online and thus, @doodlelou.co was born. My journaling style has evolved since then and I have found the methods that work more efficiently with my lifestyle instead of the traditional bullet journal method. My bullet journal career has grown enormously and have now been lucky enough to work with companies such as BBC, Papier, Cricut and Tombow. I truly believe that bullet journaling can be for everyone and fit into any lifestyle.
