Jane Corry

Hello! Lovely to 'meet' you. I trained as a journalist and have written for a variety of newspapers and magazines. I've had 19 novels published (six of which have been in the top ten of The Sunday Times) and have written hundreds of short stories for magazines. My books and short stories are published in more than 20 countries. I have also taught novel and short-story writing at Oxford University and was a Royal Literary Fellow at Exeter University. It took me a long time to be a successful author but in a way, I'm glad of that, because I learned a great deal on my journey which I can now pass onto others. I have three grown up children and two grandchildren. My second husband and I live near them by the sea in south-west England. I love swimming all through the year although I do wear a wet suit when it's cold! I get lots of ideas for writing when I'm in the water.
