Deb JJ Lee

Hey, I’m Deb/Deborah.(And Jung-Jin/정진 if you’re one of my parents) I am a Korean-born illustrator residing in Brooklyn, NY.

After I graduated from a largely engineering-based university, I paved my own path into illustration and became a freelancer to write and illustrate my own graphic novels and draw for the publishing, editorial, and advertising industries. My work has appeared on the New York Times, New Yorker, NPR, Google, Facebook, PBS, and more. My first book, a graphic memoir titled IN LIMBO, about mental illness and Asian diaspora.
