Hi! I'm Lindsey, a cupcake designer and content creator, also known as Lindsey Baked This on social media. I discovered my passion for cupcake decoration in 2020, transforming what started as a hobby into a thriving career.

I began my artistic journey as a student at Rhode Island School of Design, where I majored in illustration. There, I not only learned the fundamentals of drawing and painting, but also cultivated an eye for detail and a penchant for imaginative expression.

Building on my artistic background, I embarked on a 14-year career in the advertising industry, serving as a creative director. In this dynamic role, I mastered the art of conceptualizing, crafting compelling aesthetics, and bringing concepts to life through graphic design and photography. This experience equipped me with the tools to seamlessly translate my artistic vision onto the canvas of cupcakes.

Fueled by my passion for creativity and a desire to spread joy, I have amassed a dedicated following on social media, captivating audiences with engaging and entertaining decorating videos. For me, buttercream is more than just an ingredient—it's edible paint, a medium through which I brings my imaginative designs to life.

My cupcakes are known for their ingenuity and whimsy, each creation reflecting my playful spirit. Whether it's crafting whimsical characters or creating new decorating techniques, my goal is always to bring a smile to people's faces - and to their taste buds!

When I'm not busy whipping up treats in my New York City kitchen, I enjoy exploring the city's vibrant culinary scene, taking leisurely runs, and spending quality time with my cat, Pepper.
