Andréa Orue is a textile artist who specializes in the creation of embroidered portraits that are full of textures, colors, and depth. Though this year’s Carnaval has been postponed due to the pandemic, in this Live she captures its spirit by creating a piece of embroidery inspired by the Brazilian festival.

In addition, you will need:
A 22x22cm piece of unbleached cotton fabric (or any other type of 100% cotton)
A 20 cm embroidery hoop
A skein of embroidery thread
A size 26 embroidery needle or a size 7 hand sewing needle
A pair of small pointed scissors
Erasable fabric pen or pencil
