Nghi Ho

Hi, I am Nghi Ho, a successful self-taught Macramé artist and content creator, as well as the published author of Macramé: The Power of Knots, which has sold thousands of copies worldwide.

As a kid, I was amazed at how, with just my hands and a bit of creativity, I could create something beautiful. One of my fondest childhood memories is making lanterns for the Mid-Autumn Festival. Following my passion, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design. After graduating, I worked as a graphic designer but later decided to become a freelancer to have more artistic freedom and choose projects I was truly passionate about. Over time, I developed an interest in other digital ventures, teaching myself basic coding, programming, content recording and editing, image composition, web development, and building a social media presence.

It took me a while to master the art of Macramé, and at one point, I grew frustrated with the available resources. That’s when I decided to give it a try myself and started creating my own content. I’ve since built a strong presence in the online Macramé community, using platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to inspire others to explore Macramé. I create easy-to-follow tutorials designed to spark creativity and encourage artistic self-expression.

In addition to managing my social media channels, I’ve developed my own brand of Macramé supplies, Miss Knottie Macrame. My online store has made it possible for people around the world to access everything they need to start tying knots.
