Patrick Bouchard

I'm a musician, drummer, pianist, composer and retired music teacher. My childhood was spent playing and performing music. I mostly loved Jazz. Although as a high school student, I seriously wanted to be an architect. I loved designing and drafting. Frank Lloyd Wright influenced me greatly. But when I started college I fell back on my musical skills and decided to major in Music, eventually earning a B.A in Performance and a Masters in Music Theory and Composition. All these years I've continued to enjoy sketching and drawing, mostly for fun, but sometimes out of necessity. As a vintage automobile restorer, I've had to design parts, or create a diagram to help with repair and re-assembly. All that aside for now, I'm really interested in the Art of Urban Sketching and would like to develop that and make it an on-going part of my life.
