I am a craftsperson working primarily in cast water-based materials. I relocated from New Zealand to the UK in 2009, when I established my London-based studio. I make a range of objects and commissioned pieces in-house.
My objects are often assumed to be made by 3D printing or CNC routing, but they are all handmade. I create objects whose complex forms belie the hand-made, lo-fi processes by which they are made.
Over the past ten years, my work has garnered international press, awards, and attention. Highlights include the success of my 2012 'Faceture project' that was nominated in the annual 'Designs of the Year' awards at London's Design Museum in 2013, and a Barbican exhibition and residency in 2019.
My work features regularly in international publications including ELLE Decoration, Wallpaper*, ICON, Disegno, dezeen.com and huffingtonpost.com.
