Introduction
My largest drawing to date, "House and Home", is a giant 40 x 60" drawing that took a total of nine months to complete. This drawing is absolutely brimming with animals, objects, and furniture, many of which are inspired by real life!

Supplies
0.03 and 0.05 Uni Fineliners in black
Stonehenge paper in white
The Planning
While I always have a general idea of where I would like a drawing to go, I often dive right in with details! For this drawing, I knew it would be separated into rough thirds, with three different rooms. However each day felt like a whole new drawing as I drew the next tiny detail.

Patience
It's very important that I love the process behind my drawings. So many hours are dedicated to each piece, that patience is very important. Here's a photo of my studio assistant, Mindy, and me at the drafting table on month eight of drawing.

Finish!
Finishing a drawing this size is exciting, but also a little bit sad! I just wanted to keep drawing it!
"House and Home" remains my largest drawing to date, but I'd love to create an even larger piece one day.
