Introduction
For this course, I designed a small-scale utensil set for camping situations. Based on this design, I applied the course tools to define colors, materials, and finishes.
I started by interviewing two different population segments that shared some similarities but had clear generational differences. Based on their responses, I identified key words to guide the development of the CMF selection.

Supplies
Physical Collages, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Solidworks, Keyshot
Interview
I started by interviewing two different population segments that shared some similarities but had clear generational differences. Based on their responses, I identified key words to guide the development of the CMF selection.

Collages
Based on this selection, I created two physical moodboards, gathering reference images and combining color palettes to define a vibe that represents the analysis conducted.
At this stage, I also started collecting material and finish samples, using objects I own as references.

Step to Digital
After this, I created a digital moodboard with image references and added materials that could later be incorporated into the final products.
For this case, I will focus solely on the proposal designed for Generation Z.

CMF Options
At this stage, I started exploring options and combinations to apply the selected materials and color palette in two dimensions.
I defined three options, which I later developed in KeyShot with more realistic materials and textures.

Final CMF Selection
I refined the color palette and material selection to create a simple and effective set.
Final decisions were also made regarding the finishes of the product components, always staying true to the initial research to appeal to the analyzed generation.
For the final selection, I chose option A, as it best combines the color palette and conveys sustainability as the project's core value and distinctive feature.
Additionally, it incorporates neutral tones with accents that reflect a flexible and youthful identity. Based on this choice, I refined the color palette according to industry standards and adjusted the material selection to enhance the products.
