Cute Canva characters!

Create cute characters in canva using shape and line tools. Flex your creativity and bring to life cute creatures using simple shapes for absolutely free! Working with simple shapes keeps the characters bold, playful and uniform perfect if you're creating a brand or kawaii themed stationary. Working like this pushes your mind to look at shapes closely and will help you think of new ideas.

Just the Canva free online programme! a drawing tablet might be helpful for details but I used a mouse to prove how easy it can be done. I used presentation mode to create these in, but if you're working to print use the print size you want.

Cute rounded characters and object are key wacky expressions and wonky parts keep it playful and unique. Corner rounding is going to be used alot just remember to adjust the roundness depending on the size of the object; if you scale it down lessen the rounding.

simple can be better for cuteness keep the details on important parts like the eyes.

Here's some of the cutest critters I made from jumbling up shapes and colours. i'm particularly fond of the fuzzy ones. Don't forget to add paws and bodies using the same methods.

Had to put in my favourite funguys!...I'm sorry. try making acorns and leaves aswell for a full forest scene!

not just characters but backgrounds can be cute too. Pastel colours or limited colour schemes tend to work best and throwing some geometric or patterned background behind a cute character will really help them pop
