Introduction
In this behind-the-scenes speed render, watch the creative journey unfold as Rob Art Illustration brings his latest exhibition poster, "Lost & Found," to life. This quirky, satirical piece features a caricature-style self-portrait of the artist deep in thought — quite literally caught on the toilet — reflecting the messy, humorous, and sometimes awkward process of artistic inspiration. Crumpled sketches litter the floor, a toilet roll unspools beside him, and tally marks scratched into the wall hint at time spent wrestling with creative block. Every detail is meticulously crafted, from the exaggerated facial expressions to the playful color splashes on his sneakers.
Set against a grungy blue backdrop with graffiti touches and doodles, the poster oozes personality and artistic wit — capturing the very essence of what “Lost & Found” means in the world of creation: the struggle, the absurdity, and the eventual spark of brilliance.

Supplies
Photoshop was used to create the project from start to end.
The pencil sketch!
This was a flash of inspiration as I just talked to the gallery owner and we said about the exhibition and a thought came into my mind about the process I tend to follow to get an idea. Where some of them have been napping, some in my sleep, some in the bath and some even sitting on the toilet. So that is where the inspiration came from.
