Introduction
For my final project, I wanted to create something that felt both luxurious and calming, a product that aligns with my brand’s mission of helping people style their homes in a way that soothes the senses and uplifts the spirit. I chose to make a set of spa-inspired soy wax candles using the Candle Science Spa Pro Candle Making Kit. These candles are beautifully scented, clean-burning, and designed to bring a touch of mindfulness and elegance into everyday life.

Supplies
Candle Science Spa Pro Kit, which includes:
Soy wax flakes
Fragrance oils (Spa Collection)
Cotton wicks
Wick stickers
Wick centering tools
Warning labels
Tins with lids
Thermometer
Pouring pitcher
Stirring sticks
Heat-safe containers
Double boiler setup
Isopropyl alcohol and paper towels (for cleanup and prepping containers)

1. Prepare the Workspace
I cleaned and organized my work surface, laid out all the tools and ingredients, and prepped the candle tins by attaching the wick stickers and centering the wicks with the centering tools.

2. Melt the Wax
Using a double boiler, I slowly melted the soy wax flakes until they reached the recommended temperature of around 185°F (85°C), stirring gently to ensure an even melt.

3. Add Fragrance
Once the wax reached the correct temperature, I removed it from the heat and allowed it to cool slightly to around 175°F (79°C). Then I added the fragrance oil - WHITE EUCALYPTUS - and stirred for a full two minutes for thorough blending.

4. Pour the Wax
At around 135–145°F (57–63°C), I poured the wax into the prepped tins, being careful to keep the wick centered and to avoid spills or bubbles. I then allowed the candles to cool and cure undisturbed for at least 24 hours.

5. Finishing Touches
Once the candles fully solidified, I trimmed the wicks, wiped the containers clean, and added warning labels to the bottom of each tin. I also experimented with adding simple custom labels and packaging ideas that align with my brand’s aesthetic.

Teacher PlusYour candles came out amazing!! I think it's great that you ordered your candle making starter kit from candle science. Great work! The labels you made also add a really nice touch.

Unfortunately these companies are not shipping to Spain. I tried all the recommended companies from the Resource list. :(
