Introduction
I created a small photography project called The World of the Book. The idea was to capture the feeling of peeking into the world of books and the stories hidden inside them.
My goal was to experiment with light, perspective, and storytelling through images, using a book as the central subject.
This project allowed me to explore how atmosphere can change the emotional impact of a photo.

Supplies
Camera: Nikon Z50
Lens: 40mm Macro
Natural sunset light coming through a living room window
Editing software: Adobe Lightroom (basic adjustments)

The World of the Book
I worked with my macro lens, which I had always thought was only for close-ups.
During this project, I realized I could also use it for “regular” photos.
That discovery opened my eyes to new creative possibilities.

Working with natural light
The photos were taken during sunset, when the warm light entered through the living room window.
The sunlight played a big role in shaping depth, atmosphere, and shadow.
It completely transformed the mood of the images.
This process taught me how much light, perspective, and lens choice can influence the storytelling aspect of photography.
