James Rajotte

I am a native of Pennsylvania, USA, but I have been living and working as a photographer in Spain since 2010. Before that, I was a Visiting Professor of Photography at Rochester Institute of Technology and I was a collaborator wit the New York Times in Upstate New York. Being a photographer and an educator as well as a working professional has allowed me to share my real-world working experience with students.

For the past 10 years in Madrid, Spain I have specialised in portrait-based campaigns and stories, travel, and interior photography and I have shot over 30 magazine covers in that time. My editorial assignments have taken all over the globe and I have been on assignment in every continent (except antarctica, hopefully soon...

I take pride in creating sophisticated, narrative rich images, and my work has been recognised three times by the prestigious annual, American Photography
