I am Sid (Shido desu). I am from India but have been living in Chile for the past 8 and a half years. I teach English as a Foreign Language and as a hobby, I have been learning Japanese for the last 2 years. I recently took my JLPT N5 exams (even though I might not pass it!).
Initially, when I was learning Japanese, memorizing Kanjis used to be a sore spot for me. I would get frustrated because there were so many but I have learnt to differenciate them by doodling them on my phone. Thus, when I came across this course, I jumped at the opportunity because it was actually relaxing for me to do Kanjis. Also, what attracted me is the serene beauty of Japanese caligraphy and even though I am not very good at drawing, I have always wanted to get involved in caligraphy.
