I'm Piergiorgio Robino I'm a functional artist. I'm well known for experimenting with new materials, and resin has become my signature material. I'm the Creative Director at Studio Nucleo

I have been a guest professor at Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem; Domus Academy, Milan; University of Florence of Architecture, Design Campus; IED European Design Institute, Turin; IUAV - Venice University; Università del Salento, Lecce; Politecnico of Turin.

In 1997 I've founded Studio Nucleo an international, multi-cultural, design studio, focusing on creative and experimental design.

Studio Nucleo is an atelier composed by a dozen artists, designers and artisans chosen to give projects
a form.

Studio Nucleo's work has appeared in numerous digital and print magazines such as Wallpaper*, Domus, Architectural Digest, ICON, Sight Unseen, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal, among others.

Studio Nucleo's projects have been exhibited worldwide, like the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, Design Museum Gent, Museu Nacional do Conjunto Cultural da República in Brasília, Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Chelsea Art Museum in New York, to mention a few.
