Murat Yap

I started calligraphy in 2008 with a graffos pen I found on the ground when I was drunk. I have been dabbling in calligraphy for about 16 years. I earned money from calligraphy for a while by writing wedding invitation envelopes, plates, bookmarks, personal special gifts and chalkboards for cafes and bars. Since 2016 I started academic life at a private university, I am now continuing only as a hobby. I started painting with the writing form, I participated in 2 exhibitions. a gallery owner in new jersey bought all the calligraphic paintings I had in 2022. I am preparing for the exhibition by making new paintings with calligraphy now
