Hey there! My name is Aynsley, known under my shop name Knotted Neon. I am a crochet and pattern designer based out of Toronto, Canada. I began crocheting in the Spring of 2020, and since then I have been pushing the boundaries of crochet and walking others through the process of how I achieve that. When I first started crocheting, my first ‘popular’ design was a cardigan depicting a cow being abducted by aliens. I haven’t made one in years, but it really catapulted my creative career and encouraged me to keep exploring the amazing medium of crochet and fiber arts.
Since then, I have found myself really drawn to creating food-inspired bags! I love the creativity that comes with it and how each person can have a connection to the food depicted. Since the beginning of my crochet journey, I have always focused on making whimsical and humorous accessories that add a touch of joy to fashion. From a crochet pizza rat bag to a sardine bag, I love to create a diverse range of crochet pieces that have you covered for any silly event or even a whimsical trip to the grocery store! Even more than making these pieces, my favourite thing is to teach others how to explore crochet and create adorable and goofy food bags. All of my patterns are written in English, along with any work on here. :)
