Japanese characters somehow are similar with Chinese. Attribute to the Japanese course that I have taken in the University, I am familiarised with Japanese characters including Hiragana and Katakana.
This is a project to create several artworks for a Karate school. Both Karate and Japanese calligraphy have a long history in Japan, and these two cultures are still welcome in the world.
I am happy to be invited to take part in creating these artworks for them. There are two meaningful and encouraging quotes that I have written in Japanese, they are “The way to success has no shortcuts” and “Karate begins and ends with respect”. Besides, I also create an Enzo symbol which means absolute enlightenment, strength, elegance, the universe.
