Familiar Instinct: An AI Editorial Project

Combining the fluidity of human movement with feline grace, this AI-generated editorial is an artistic meditation on shadow and symmetry within a minimalist void.

Nano Banana: Used as the primary generative AI engine to create the high-fidelity, monochromatic imagery.
Canva: Used for the editorial layout, typography, and final graphic design of the three-page spread.
Pinterest: Used for visual research and sourcing high-contrast inspiration to build the initial mood board.

I drew initial inspiration from my own cat (although she's a tortie), then used Pinterest to research high-contrast photography and minimalist silhouettes that matched my vision.

I compiled these references into a mood board to establish a strict monochromatic palette and a "Minimalist Avant-Garde" aesthetic.

Using Nano Banana, I generated the final imagery, refining prompts to capture the specific lighting and the symbiotic relationship between the model and the cat.

I moved the assets into Canva to design the three-page editorial spread, focusing on typography and clean, professional composition.
