Kelsey Garrity-Riley

I am an illustrator currently living in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. My Childhood spent in Belgium and Germany as well as my education at the Savannah College of Art and Design and time spent living in New York have all influenced my work. My favorite work to create is for Children's Books as well as wrapping paper pattern and card design ( mostly for the wonderful Red Cap Cards.)

I love using a mix of gouache with collage and colored pencil and ink in my work. I enjoy finding ways to make my art feel personal to create- I'm often inspired by childhood memories and nostalgia for exploring nature. I have a lot of ideas for books I'm excited to continue to work to get out of my head and out onto paper!

A selection of my illustrated books include: Other Wordly (written by Yee-Lum Mak), You Are A Beautiful Beginning (Written by Nina Laden), Bicycle Face (written by Larissa Theule), My Little Brave Girl (Written by Hilary Duff) and Frankies Favorite Food (Written by me!) In July my second book that I've also written called Fritz: A Mushroom Story comes out that I'm especially proud of and excited to share.
