Introduction
This is a project I've been working on for a while in collaboration with my friend Anaïs Lalange who designed and handmade textile masks specifically for the photographs. The images are inspired in characters and deities from fairytales, myths and folklore.
Although I didn't create a photo montage exactly like in the course, this course helped me a lot on how to create a more painterly like photograph.
Supplies
We had a photo shoot in the summer. Somehow I liked the combination of these two images, so I used Photoshop to edit them together.
Editing
This was the first result, but it was difficult to work the light as it was too hard. The second image shows the result after the course, as I played with adjustment layers and the sfumato effect. A more fairytale look :)

Me encanta la atmósfera que has creado: un ambiente de misterio y surrealismo. El agua siempre aporta un toque de enigma a las imágenes, y es genial que hayas logrado capturar ese momento de transformación del cuerpo a través del prisma acuático. Y, por supuesto, un gran respeto a tu amigo, el creador de la máscara: me encanta su trabajo, esa combinación de algo cercano, comprensible y popular con un efecto de inquietud y peligro. Espero que continuéis colaborando y que tengas más oportunidades de poner en práctica las habilidades adquiridas en el curso!
