I created a few different pitch boards in early 2021 for SKY's drama Domina. The show follows the life of Livia Drusilla in ancient Rome.
Ich habe die oben genannten Pitchboards erstellt und von beiden habe ich Option 1 bevorzugt. Die übergeordnete Idee bestand darin, Elemente des antiken Roms an der Kamera vorbeifallen zu lassen. Die einzige Lichtquelle wäre das feuerbeleuchtete Logo.
Erst am Ende der Sequenz wird enthüllt, dass all diese Objekte an einer riesigen Statue von Livia vorbeifallen.
I created the above pitch boards and of the two, option 1 was preferred. The over arching idea was to have elements of ancient Rome falling past the camera. The only light source would be the fire lit logo.
It will be only at the end of the sequence that it's revealed that all these objects are falling past a giant statue of Livia.
Nachdem wir den Auftrag erhalten hatten, wollte der Kunde die Geschichte, Lucia als mächtige Aufseherin zu haben, noch weiter ausbauen.

Once we were awarded the job the client wanted to make more of the narrative of having Lucia as a powerful overseer.
This was achieved by keeping her in the shadows until the light changes it's source. At this point she is revealed looking over the city of Rome.
