Here's my finished project! https://hedge-maze.com
When I first started this journey in mid-july, I didn't think learning web design without ever having typed a line of code could be as feasible as Yannick painted it the introduction preview, but I'm happy I took the leap of faith. 6 weeks later, I feel I have a basic grasp of HTML, CSS, and JS–which I wouldn't have been able to ramp up to without the slow progression the course guides you through.
Here's a timeline of my progress: https://imgur.com/a/chULjbL
When I finished the last unit, I had the working prototype Yannick helps you build. From there on out, I started applying the concepts laid out and revisiting certain parts as needed. Along with troubleshooting help from a friend who works professionally in the industry and a (possibly unhealthy) dose of Youtube, here I am at the other side of the road. 🫶
In retrospect, although I found the build tools unit pretty confusing, I appreciate Yannick's setup for the terminal, Node, and particularly Parcel, having now more context on all of the above, they ultimately simplified things in a way I appreciate. Same with the introduction to flex, z-index, and animations. I would say I still needed a fair amount of reinforcement on each of the topics introduced (as well as a plethora of other things for the specific features I wanted to implement on the site /overachiving) to fully grasp them, but Yannick's guidance helped me know what to look for in the first place. Feedback and thoughts welcome! Thanks again <3

Lehrkraft Plus👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Bravo! Ausgezeichnete Arbeit.
Prost!
