Introduction
I created a watercolour peacock as part of an art class and filmed the process

Supplies
I used watercolour paper cold press by Seawhite of Brighton, 250gsm, and 4 colours
Winsor and Newton prof range
Phthalo turquoise
Quinacridone magenta
Winsor lemon
Black (Cotman range)
Size 12 synthetic round brush
Rigger size 1
First layer of the cool colours
I get the cleanest colours in first looking for the biggest shapes and softest edges. I start with the cool blue colours and paint on dry paper, linking one colour to the next.

Adding warm colours
I then added the warmed colours, keeping my brush strokes loose and intuitive. I finished the piece by adding loose scribbles with a gel pen and splashes from the left over paint. I gave created a free process video of the demo which will be available in a few days time to my Facebook Group. 🤗
