Silvia Fernández Palomar, better known as Silvia Ferpal, walks the line between art and design in her work. In 2019, she won the Spanish National Design Award in the youth category thanks to her unique approach to design that blends traditional disciplines with more contemporary forms of expression. She currently works as a freelance designer and teaches design at the IED art school.

She has collaborated on projects for Ogilvy & Mather, Paseo, Designit Madrid, Designit New York, and, more notably, on a design project for the Royal Spanish Academy which led her to live in Rome for the duration of it. Her client list includes Harvard, Bloomberg, Inditex, and Leroy Merlin; she also designed the official typography for the City of Madrid. Her work has been published by other major companies such as Corraini and Santillana.

Throughout his professional career, Pepe Gimeno has carried out projects in the fields of graphic design, typography, and visual arts.

He has earned numerous honors and awards for his work, including six TDC Communication Design Awards from the Type Directors Club of New York, three certificates from the ISTD of the United Kingdom, and the Golden and Platinum Award from Graphis Poster.

His work has been featured in numerous international publications and in exhibitions that have toured Europe, Japan, the United States, China, and South America.

Pepe has collaborated with the Spanish Prime Minister's Office, Roca Sanitario, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

In his hometown of Valencia, he has designed some of his most emblematic logos such as Les Corts Valencianes, the Valencia Metro, EMT Valencia, and the Palmera de la Comunitat Valenciana.

In addition to his professional work, he has been developing and expanding his discourse with new formal proposals on scrap materials since 2002. His work has been included in projects like Diario de un Náufrago, The green bag, and Grafía Callada, put on display at the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) in 2004 and at the Type Directors Club headquarters in New York in 2015.

Enric Jardí is a graphic designer who loves letters and typography. He's worked in many fields throughout his career, but has mainly focused on editorial design, art direction, book covers, corporate identity, typography, and illustration.

He is passionate about lettering and typography. He has published several books, including Veintidós consejos sobre tipografía (que algunos diseñadores jamás revelarán) y veintidós cosas que nunca debes hacer con las letras (que algunos tipógrafos nunca te dirán) and Pensar con imágenes, which have both been translated into several other languages.

Enric combines his professional career with teaching at multiple academic centers such as the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Blanquerna foundation, the Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, ELISAVA, the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, the University of Lapland in Finland, and IDEP Barcelona.

He was president of the Association of Art Directors and Graphic Designers ADG-FAD for several years and has received several awards for his professional work in the field of design, including: a European Design Award, a Laus, a D&AD Award, and a Malofiej for infographics and the National Culture Award in the design category, granted by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Javier Alcaraz is a graphic designer specializing in Typographic Design and Art Direction for Editorial Design. He began his design career for Argentina newspapers and worked on developing publications and institutional communication in Ecuador. In 2004, he left Argentina for Mexico, where he worked for important publishing houses like Grupo Media and Expansión.

In 2011, he founded elcerezo, a studio that works on editorial design, branding, and typeface design for clients in Latin America and Europe, including Google, the Mexican Ministry of Culture, TetraPack, and Forbes. He currently resides in Spain.

Leire Fernández has a doctorate in fine arts and is a professor of graphic design at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Among her subjects, she specializes in editorial design, visual identity, and design professionalization and management.

Eduardo Herrera has a doctorate in fine arts and is a professor of graphic design at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Among his subjects, he specializes in editorial design, typography, and visual identity.

Together they co-direct the graphic design and typography research group Letraz at the UPV/EHU. Both have published multiple books, most notably Diseño de cubiertas de libros: Recursos de retórica visual (Editorial Síntesis), Un proceso creativo en el diseño gráfico de carteles (Servicio Editorial - UPV/EHU), and Historias que marcan: Origen y significado de 50 marcas gráficas (Editorial GG).

Throughout their careers, they've collaborated on graphic design projects in a variety of fields, mainly in publishing, typography, poster design, and corporate visual identity, which have earned them awards such as the Klap Platinum award for the best font design, the Anuaria de Oro for the best design of an editorial publication, the Juan de Yciar Award for editorial quality, and the Letra de Plata in visual and graphic communication for the best coverage of an event.

They also organize and teach numerous courses, workshops, and conferences, including the Taller de Diseño Gráfico de los Cursos de Verano at the UPV/EHU in San Sebastián, as well as the Congreso de Diseño Gráfico and the Jornadas de Caligrafía in Arantzazu.

Graphic designer Esteban Ibarra is the founder of Guapo Design Studio, where he develops visual identity, editorial, and digital projects. He is passionate about the simplicity afforded by geometry and the versatility of basic shapes for communicating complex ideas. He's worked for big-name brands across a range of industries and places including Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, USA, and Europe.

Part of his work related to logo design and visual identity was included in editions 4 and 5 of the Los Lagos series, published by German publishing house Gestalten. Alongside his commissioned work, he develops personal projects, such as the music platform 20Songsto, and has also taught at the Espacio Virgen in Argentina.
