Creative Drawing Specialization: From Fundamentals to Artistic Expression

Puño has been a professional illustrator since 1994 and it was just three years later that he also began his career as an educator specializing in creativity, illustration, and graphic storytelling. He has extensive experience in desktop publishing and created and managed the publishing house Ultrarradio from 2010 to 2013. He was also director of the One Year Illustration and Graphic Novel course at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid and curator of the Madrid City Council's exhibition series La Ciudad en Viñetas between 2012 and 2015. He received the 2018 Barco de Vapor Award and the 2009 Fundación SM International Illustration Award, among others.

Javier Royo Espallargas, better known as Javirroyo, is an illustrator, designer, and professor who holds a fine arts degree from the University of the Basque Country. His specialty is taking complex ideas and boiling them down into simple yet thought-provoking illustrations bordering on the abstract. The aim of his work is to tell stories and discuss topics like death, sex, love, friendship, and topical issues. In 2020, he won the Gràffica Award, which every year recognizes the top ten creative professionals in Spain's visual culture.

In addition to running the illustration and design studio Chispum, he currently collaborates as an illustrator and cartoonist for El País, El Semanal, Visual, La Maleta de Portbou, Uppers, El Meteorito, and El Estafador. When he's not drawing, he's teaching others how to do so as a professor of illustration and design at the Open University of Catalonia, Eina, IDEP, and BAU. He is also a board member and the head of education at Foundawtion, a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting and developing education and architecture in Africa. His latest published books include Martín Berasategui y David de Jorge, La Tortilla de Patatas, La Escuela, Grandes cócteles del mundo, Life is Sho, Homo Machus, and Laborachismo.

Fortuna Studio is an illustration collective based in Lima, Peru that was formed by Pierina Másquez and José María Denegri in 2019. These visual artists and illustrators specialize in creating illustrations that reflect everyday life by using oil pastels and colored pencils.

Their style, their sensitivity, and their unique way of seeing the world has led them to collaborate with independent fashion brands like GARAJE, design stores like Ósmosis.pe, and editorial projects like @HERMANAS.

Gusti Rosemffet was born in Buenos Aires and has been drawing since he was a child. Following years of experience in the world of publishing and editing, he has become a dedicated artist thanks to his style and message. He has published more the 150 books in editorials across Spain, Japan, Mexico, and USA, among others.

He has received recognition on various occasions with awards such as: Premio Nacional de Ilustración (Spain), Premio Apel·les mestres, and Junceda and BolognaRagazzi in the Disability category. He is also the founder of the Windown association, which works with art as a tool for social inclusion.
