Mariana Baertl is the founder of Living Fibers and a textile artist specializing in handmade embroidery and knit decor for indoor spaces. She studied fashion design in Peru before moving to Barcelona, Spain, where she perfected her technique and started working in haute couture and patternmaking.

After working many years as a fashion designer, she decided to change course and devote her time to textile art. All of her pieces are hand-embroidered with threads and yarns from around the world. Her biggest source of inspiration is nature, especially its shapes and movements.

Diana Cunha is a Portuguese textile artist who, after graduating in international relations and working for 20 years in the banking sector, discovered her true passion for textiles. After taking some courses in 2015, she started to work with frame loom tapestry, macramé, and embroidery, developing her own visual language and style.

At the beginning of 2016, she created her brand Oficina 166 and at the end of 2017, she expanded her studio to work with a team of two people while teaching creative workshops and courses.

She has held two exhibitions in Lisbon and works with clients in several countries such as the United States, Luxembourg, Belgium, Angola, and Portugal.

Textile artist María Hernández has always been very fond of everything handmade. Her passion for handcrafted work took shape and color when, in 2015, she learned about weaving tapestries with a comb loom.
