I would agree with the quotation of Elon Musk: “People should pursue what they’re passionate about. That will make them happier than pretty much anything else.”
OK, I’m not building fancy electric cars, either launching rockets to the ISS or planning to create a space station on Mars, and at least the imagination of implanting a brain-computer interface scares me. But I like his inspiring mindset and way of getting things done.
We have in common that we are passionate about three things. My first love could be subsumed under science and medicine. I like to learn new things and understand how the world or life functions. I love physics because this field of science describes nearly everything. Due to my lack of higher math, I couldn’t understand the within spoken language. This means I could understand the matter but couldn’t comprehend complex equations.
Since my early childhood, I love animals. Instead of putting dolls inside the wicker pram, I took my plush animals. This was called “Ark Noah.” The love for animals remains today. I like spending time in nature and observing their behaviour. I’m excited about the daily visit of different types of birds, which grab some food or the hedgehog, which lives near our garden. So, animals are my second passion. Also, as a child, I loved the imagination of living like Jacques Cousteau on a sailing boat, watching animals the
the whole day and study their behaviour.
My third love is arts, design and photography. I love the possibility of inviting others to my view of things by keeping volatile moments for eternity. So, the third passion allows us to combine both others. I love to create detailed anatomical or scientific sketches that help me understand a complex topic.
On the other hand, the field of neue-aesthetics tries to understand the beholder's cerebral processes of artworks.
