Mi Proyecto del curso: Naturaleza ilustrada: una exploración creativa

Hi teacher! and Hi to you! I loved the course! My problem for years has always been that I did not get carried away. I have always been afraid of mistakes and of playing with the elements. I make realistic drawings, always copying the photograph with minute detail. Exhausting. But with your classes I have enjoyed creating things again, I have had fun and this have made me try new things that I have never done before! I am very happy and grateful.
For the Final Project 1 I did not know the effect of bleach on ink before, I loved it. This was the second test I did with this technique and I left it as a final project because its exploratory nature led to a gestural piece that I would not have achieved if I had made this piece with great observation and copying every detail. And for the Final Project 2 I used the palette of colors that I experienced above, a reduced palette of 3 colors together with the superposition of different backgrounds and visual textures. This is something that fascinated me about the course, superimposing different intervened papers, or painting on papers that we have previously painted. Sorry if my English is not very good haha greetings from Argentina!

Wow! It is so wonderful to see so many of your sketches, how you have explored different tools and techniques with curiosity, how you have developed an idea. How you have allowed yourself to get carried away! This is exactly when the magic happens! You start with well observed sketches, but before long you have run away from these into such exciting territory. I'm delighted to see these, thank you for adding them to the course site. Thanks for your kind comments about the course.
Good luck to you in the future!

I loved seeing your process and the incredible final projects that came from the journey. Fabulous images—the way you captured the rapid movement of the bird and its wings with some marvelous patterning...

@zoomwithaview Hello Anna! Thank you for your comment <3 I appreciate it very much.
On how I made the image: they are overlapping cuts. I painted the bird with turquoise and orange acrylic on a yellow paper. On the other hand, I painted a white paper with the same turquoise acrylic and stained it randomly with orange, on top of this paper I cut out the silhouette of a flower that was shaded a little with colored pencil. Then I just cut both pieces into rectangles and overlapped them. Greetings!
