Thank you. In the past I only painted in watercolor. Now I experiment with pastel and acrylic as well. When I'm in a hurry I do it in cake because I know that with this medium I can finish it the same day.
What I like the most about your works are the colors and the composition. It's hard for me to get away from the photo.

I love how you use your placement of colors to help draw one's eye into your pieces! Well done.

@editalinda me exactly what appeals to you most about my work. I am happy. When I started painting I did a lot of color mixing exercises, just like most courses start here. This creates a personal sense of color and an inner security that means help in every picture.

@newcrejaes Thank you @newcrejaes Indeed, playing with colors in my work is the most important thing for me. Nice to read that you see it.

@utestorjohann Thank you very much for your explanation. I have signed up for about 10 courses recently but I have not had time to start because the project of the daily drawing for a month takes all my time ...

@editalinda pleasure. Don't worry, I'm registered for several courses and they are now dormant. I find these courses here to be demanding, because if you approach them with all your heart, the individual exercises take time. I think the courses are of a high quality. And they are worth getting involved with with your heart. I think our own development can only go forward if we practice and give ourselves the time we need for it.
Ultimately, the challenge is also an exercise in exercising imagination, expression, perseverance and much more.
So, now I'm going to change my text from today, because I've read that you can only post one photo of one drawing per day, so I'm skipping a week and my challenge remains incomplete. Unfortunately does not fit any other way.

What I really love is that you've tried so many different techniques. Great. My favorite motifs are: Hunt, Raven und Bite.

Hi, you're from Hamburg. I could have written in German then.
My Domestika translates everything for me, so I don't know if it's in my mother tongue.
So again very briefly: Great project. Keep it up!

I like your abstract "eye"!

@mimbelbi Thank you @mimbelbi Yes, people from many nations meet here, which I find quite enriching. Greetings from the Waterkant. I like to find the right technology for my ideas. I love mixed media. In this challenge I admire when participants manage to work through the daily projects with a single technique.

What a sad topic today. But your interpretation is so poetic, I really like that.
By the way, I also think the pattern of the kimono is beautiful! I've looked at it a couple of times.
So far I had overlooked the sword lily. That's a really great idea and the drawing turned out wonderful too! Keep it up!

I got it! And, yes we will long for the forest, the trees, plants, the sounds, the medicines that come from it and so many other beautiful things when they are gone. Appreciated this piece!
