Capturing the Essence

I've been working with Diego on a portrait drawing with some friends and colleagues and asked him if I could also create a watercolor portrait for my upcoming live zoom workshop. We agreed on a similar pose to the very 'caravaggesque mood' that had captured my attention during the first session.

I've worked with Diego on many artistic projects in the past years but this time there was something else that created this aura around the model and a special connection: he will soon become a father!
