For this course, I created a small illustration using the original story and characters from my master's thesis project. I'm still in the process of creating the final master's project, so I won't disclose much more about my process. This course has helped me mainly in the creation of the narrative, modules M1, M2 and M3 were particularly useful for this phase of the project. Thank you so much to the teachers, I will continue to reffer back to this course for many many more projects, this was a very complete and thorough course. 😊

For the supplies I used mainly pencil and paper for the sketching of the characters and the writting of the narrative. I ilustrated the characters and scenario in Procreate and finished with the tipography composition in Affinity Designer. For the textures in the characters clothing I scanned some paper sheets and post it's that I had at home and added them onto Procreate.

The first step for me was to create a narrative based on the topic I'm exploring on my master's thesis. The narrative map exercise really helped me in this phase because it allowed me to write down all the ideas I had for many different story plots and keep them organized eventhough these were only sketches.

For the actual project for this course I decided to go simple and do a sort of presentation spread for my characters. Unfortunately, since I'm still finishing my thesis I can't show more of the project itself but all the drawing and writting exercises really helped me put my project together!
