Joanna Muñoz

Hi hi! My name's Joanna Muñoz and I'm a Los Angeles-based hand letterer, illustrator and the artist behind Wink & Wonder. I have a degree in graphic design and worked as a designer and art director in the entertainment industry for 11+ years, creating websites and social media assets for ad agencies, big brands and Hollywood film studios.

In 2019, I made the jump into full-time freelancing. My work is primarily focused on hand lettering and can be described as a fun blend of whimsical letterforms, rainbow palettes and uplifting messages.

I love creating custom artwork for businesses I believe in, working live lettering events and activations, and teaching hand lettering workshops in Southern California. My goal is to create art that resonates with people, encourages them to find the silver lining in all things and to be their most authentic selves.
