I'm Elsa, an architect, crafter and mother of two little ones, and also the founder and maker behind mauves marie.

mauvais marie is my handmade adventure.

The brand started in 2018 with the idea of creating unique, sustainable, and carefully crafted toys, that sparked the imagination.

I started to make toys for my own children, and through playing I wanted to convey to them the value of handmade work, the respect for time (especially the time that takes to make something), and the love for natural materials.
And I really wanted them to have fun.

These are still the reasons beyond mauvais maurie.

The collection soft toys and rattles from mauvais marie is full of personality as it is told by their peculiar noses, and the humor is always present as you can see on the banana shaped lavender bags and mushrooms.
