I make mosaics and want to further my artistic and designing techniques. I also want to attain a good understanding of hand-building of tiles and small functional items with stoneware clay so I can create flat ceramic pieces for my mosaics. I want to lose my fear of making mosaics by creating lots of practice pieces. I haven't attempted reverse method yet as I've mostly made wall decor pieces where unevenness of tesserae hasn't mattered.
