Karaçay Solidarity: Art as a Testament to Resilience

This photography project is a commercial endeavor focused on exhibition documentation.

The exhibition took place in a historic Levantine mansion, repurposed as an art space. Through my work, I aimed to highlight the relationship between the exhibited pieces and the architectural setting, as well as the dialogue they establish among themselves.

Following the devastating 2023 earthquakes in Türkiye, the Karaçay Solidarity exhibition emerged as a profound artistic response to collective grief and reconstruction. Organized by Kolektif Koordinasyon Derneği and the Bir Arada Yaşarız Eğitim ve Toplumsal Araştırmalar Vakfı (BAYETAV), the exhibition showcased photography, film, painting, and sculpture created by children and young individuals at the Karaçay Community Center in Samandağ.
