Theresa Forrest

I am an artist living in the New Forest. I am a keen environmentalist and I have been known to wave down a lawnmower or two in the vain hope that our beautiful wild areas will be left untouched which we are now starting to see this year which is fabulous.
My passion is picture books which started after I began a course at the Arts Institute Bournemouth in 1999. Completing both an HNC and an HND in illustration I then started designing my own greetings cards.

I have been painting scenes of local towns and villages on canvas and I was shortlisted and won first place in the the competition.
My painting sold straight away to Lord and lady Montagu and is now exhibited at the Buckler’s hard maritime museum.
