I am a single mom of two grown men lol and a brand new grandma to my first grandchild Blakely! I was a RN specializing in palliative care pain and symptom management, adult and senior mental health, and clinical instructor for RPN long term care rotation. I also facilitated grief course and palliative course to staff and community, a staff nurse on locked unit mental health and addictions, community nurse for senior'smental health, head nurse on dementia special care unit and Head nurse at our local residential hospice. Unfortunately around 15 years ago I started to have health problems and ended up on disability for multiple autoimmune conditions. This however is why I am starting my own business that celebrates and educates artisan skills, providing yarn and other supplies that offer a sustainable and more conscious crafting. Sorting first 18 months will focus on fiber arts then move towards other media used in hand made crafts. I am a First Nations traditional beader and over past 6 years have reintroduced crochet, embroidery, lace making into my knowledge base. Im excited to get S.O.S. Creatives launched and have the ability to use AI and other technologies to give me more time to create and teach while my AI creative assistant and administrator helps me focus, save time and money and able my business to function smoothly and successfully so I can have a better less stressful life and focus more on things that matter like getting better and having hope for the future 😀
