My project in Modern Calligraphy: Creating Expressive Letterforms course

Here's my take on the final project. I used this as an example in the course, sharing my process to create a calligraphy artwork. From choosing words I connect with to how the quote inspires my colour and design decisions. I was inspired by the connection to the stars and being watched over in this quote and wanted to capture a part of the feeling of a starry sky in this piece.
