Introduction
My Spanish Painters Collection was born from a deep admiration for Spain’s artistic legacy, even before I set foot in the country. Inspired by the works of Salvador Dalí, Diego Velázquez, and Pablo Picasso, I designed this collection as a way to carry their essence with me on my journey. Each pair of earrings embodies a unique aspect of these masters—Dalí’s dreamlike surrealism, Velázquez’s regal realism, and Picasso’s revolutionary Cubism—translating their iconic styles into wearable art.
As I traveled through Spain, visiting the Prado, Reina Sofía, and the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres, I experienced firsthand the art that had already inspired me. Stepping into Dalí’s world, wandering through Velázquez’s royal portraits, and standing before Picasso’s Guernica deepened my connection to their genius. This collection became more than just a creative project—it was a tribute that I carried with me, a personal dialogue between past and present, between artistry and experience.

Supplies
For my Spanish Painters Collection, I handcrafted each intricate design using high-quality polymer clay, bringing to life the essence of Salvador Dalí, Diego Velázquez, and Pablo Picasso in wearable art. Every detail—textures, colors, and forms—was sculpted entirely from polymer clay without the use of resin, paint, or varnish.
Materials & Tools Used:
• Polymer Clay (Various Colors): Hand-shaped and layered to create detailed compositions.
• Stainless Steel Earring Posts & Jump Rings: Durable and hypoallergenic for comfortable wear.
• Acrylic Roller & Clay Pasta Machine: To condition and flatten the clay evenly.
• Precision Blades, Craft Knife & Needle Tools: For intricate cutting, shaping, and texturing.
• Custom Stencils: Used for consistency in repeating elements.
• Clay Extruder & Ball Stylus: To add fine details and three-dimensional effects.
• Baking Surface (Ceramic Tile or metal tray) & Oven Thermometer: Ensuring even curing at the right temperature.
• Sandpaper: For smooth, professional finishing.
This collection showcases the versatility of polymer clay, proving that with the right tools and techniques, intricate and detailed jewelry can be achieved without additional finishes.

Encantos de España Earring Collection
The Spanish Painters Collection was born from my passion for art and my desire to translate it into wearable pieces. Before traveling to Spain, I immersed myself in the works of Salvador Dalí, Diego Velázquez, and Pablo Picasso, drawing inspiration from their bold styles and rich symbolism. I designed and handcrafted each piece using only polymer clay, sculpting every detail to reflect their iconic artistic legacies. Later, I had the incredible experience of taking these earrings with me to Spain, visiting the museums and places that had inspired them. This project showed me the power of creativity and preparation—how an idea can come to life even before experiencing it firsthand. I encourage you to find inspiration in the artists and places that move you, and to create your own collection that tells a story through your art.

Las Meninas, inspired by Diego Velazquez's timeless masterpiece
Inspired by Diego Velázquez’s iconic painting Las Meninas, I reimagined the Infanta Margarita and her attendants as vibrant, joyful figures in the form of playful polymer clay earrings. I was drawn to the elegance and structure of their dresses, and I transformed these historical silhouettes into bold, contemporary designs using a palette of bright, contrasting colors. Each earring celebrates the classic composition while embracing a whimsical, modern twist—honoring the original masterpiece through texture, color, and handmade charm. This collection is my way of bringing art history into everyday life, turning a Baroque painting into wearable joy.
