Embroiderer and Graphic Artist

Loly Ghirardi, also known as Señorita Lylo, is an embroiderer and graphic designer based in Barcelona. After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), she worked on design projects but gradually began to leave the digital to one side in favor of crafts. That's how she fell in love with embroidery.

Armed with her hoops, threads, and needles, she creates unique pieces and experiments using different mediums. Each project starts with a conceptual search and each stitch is accompanied by an anecdote, personal story, or place she's visited. Over time, she got the opportunity to teach everything she knows about embroidery, and it is a vocation that comforts her and continues to inspire her more and more every day.
