Reviews
Eric Morales, better known as Dr. Morbito, is the founder and director of SIDERALMX, the first studio in Mexico dedicated especially to organic, sustainable, and socially conscious projects. Since the beginning of his career, he has worked for important advertising agencies in Mexico, where he has designed campaigns for Coca-Cola, Danone, Lincoln, LG, Delicados, Faros, Canana (the last graphic campaign of the JCChávez documentary), Axtel, and Tetra Pak.
He was part of the FAKIR collective, an interdisciplinary group of graphics and experimental art actions that coordinates creative and business development workshops. Since 1999, he has participated individually and in groups in numerous shows, exhibitions, and festivals in Mexico, Barcelona, and New York, among others.
His work has been published in various newspapers, books, and magazines, such as Complot, a! Diseño, O Origina, Día Siete, Diario Universal, DF Magazine, Play Load (Germany), Laus 05 and GG (Barcelona), Tres Logos and Cuatro Logos (Germany), and Graphics Alive @.
His devotion to Santería and popular art since he was little has influenced him to such an extent that his current personal projects revolve around religious syncretism and cultural diversity in everyday life, moving through photography, objects, and mainly design with toys.
